Kim Elmore

Kim Elmore is a Medical Geographer and Geospatial Scientist who has been conducting HIV research for 20 years. She earned her Ph.D. in Geography from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2001 and has been at the CDC since 2003. Kim is interested in the application of geographical ideas to understanding the changing geography of infectious diseases. She is also currently the Vice Chair of the Geography and Geospatial Science Working Group (GeoSWG) at CDC.
